Poly-forms Adhesive Systems

Poly-form F05 Adhesives are flexible pre-shaped copolymers with negligible vertical flow. F05's no-flow property keeps the sealant contained in precisely defined areas and prevents drips and dispensing inconsistencies typical of liquid adhesives. F05 bonds well to diverse materials, including metals, plastics, and glass, and can be pre-shaped in multiform configurations to accommodate a broad range of applications. F05's pre-processing flexibility facilitates manual and automated handling and increases production rates.

The temperature and time required to process F05's depend upon component materials, design, and seal requirements. The minimum processing temperature is 225°F (107°C). A typical processing schedule is 275°F (135°C) for 30 minutes under 5 psi. See processing instructions for additional recommended temperatures, times, and clamping pressures.
